January 12, 2014 - Claiming the Promises of 2014
Joshua 14:6-15
Our Main Text being found in Verse 12 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works that these shall he do; because I go unto the Father.
1. Caleb believed the promises of God. Vs. 6
2 Corinthians 1:20; Hebrews 8:6; Hebrews 6:12
2. Caleb accepted the promises of God
3. Caleb was strengthened by the Promises. Vs. 11
4. Caleb was rewarded by Claiming the Promises. Vs. 13
Caleb believed, Caleb accepted and Caleb was strengthened by the Promises of God and the last thing that we see with Caleb is that He was rewarded by Claiming the Promises of God.
As we go into this New Year, we must also know that God will surely keep His Word. In 1 Corinthians 2:9 says, "But as it is written, Eye hath not see, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

January 5, 2014 Message to the Church - God's Gifts for the New Year
Ezekiel 36:22-28
Jeremiah 31:31-34
Ezekiel 36:26 tells us, A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you.
Jeremiah 31:31/33 says, I will make a new covenant......I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts.
It is a new year again. 2013 is gone and 2014 is here, a brand New Year!
Christians are familiar with the language on newness. At the end of the scriptures we read this says, the One seated on the throne says, I make all things new.
In his writing to the early church, Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "If anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation, the old has passed away, the new has come."
Jesus said to Nicodemus, you must be born from above, in other words, you must be born again.
Ezekiel and Jeremiah, faithful hearers and accurate speakers of the Word of God, proclaim a newness in the midst of the destruction of Jerusalem. Through them, God says, I will give you......
a new heart.......a new spirit.......and a new covenant
